Shirley Baker

Shirley Baker is a Procedural Technician at Alleviant Integrated Mental Health’s Fort Smith location. She is passionate about patient care and believes in listening to each person’s needs and doing what she can to help them feel supported.

Growing up in Midland, Arkansas, Shirley saw a need for dedicated mental health care as she began her career as a CNA. Her experience caring for individuals, including those in memory care, inspired her to pursue a path where she could help people earlier in their mental health journey.

For Shirley, the most rewarding part of her work is interacting with patients and knowing that she and her team may have made a positive difference in someone’s life. Known for her friendly nature, she strives to help patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside of work, Shirley enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, listening to music, playing board and card games, and spending time outdoors. She also shares her home with two German Shepherds and two cats.
